In Search Of Inspiration

Although this blog has been in existence for four years, it doesn't feel like an achievement compared to previous anniversaries. In fact, it feels more like a failed year if anything.

Statistics, like Shakira's hips, don't lie. A mere 25 blog entries throughout one whole year is a little more than depressing. It's plain pathetic. Needless to say, readership tanked. Apart from loyal followers (thank you all for still being around), most have moved on to more interesting blogs, and rightly so.

If it weren't for several evergreen entries which never fail to receive visits through the years and constantly being the 10 most popular posts, this blog would probably just be a non-entity in the blogosphere (as if it hasn't already).

I've been trying to find the inspiration to blog more frequently. Anything would definitely be better than now but I just lack the passion of yesteryears. I find it too much of a hassle these days. Maybe it's a sign I should just stop but ironically, I'll probably find it too hard to give up altogether. Maybe I should just continue looking for the inspiration I long for, at least for the time being before I decide for sure. Maybe Peter Cetera of Chicago would be of help.

Then again...maybe not. Till I find the inspiration to blog again, live long and prosper...

  1. just wait for your inspiration to come, don't force yourself.

my opinion may not mean anything to u, but for what it's worth, i've always loved reading what u have to say. maybe sporadic posts aren't so bad compared to none at all ;)

  3. Kshern, just popped over to thank you for your kind words and thoughtful message on my blog.

This is my third attempt to leave a comment. I keep getting thrown out, so I'll just give it another try.

Once again, thank you for your thoughtfulness, your words mean a lot to me.
