"Gave It All Away" music video by Boyzone
Originally meant to be the comeback single for Boyzone, it has now become a tribute song for the late Stephen Gately. A very unfortunate passing indeed and the music video marks the occasion perfectly. Without a doubt, a wonderful song written by Mika.
We are all guilty of taking things for granted, some more than others. I for one admit to being culpable of doing that and had for countless of times, unknowingly taken things for granted. I've been unfortunate to be at the receiving end too. It can be a difficult balancing act but I hope to try lessening the possibility of it happening in the future. I do not know how successful I will be but I can only try.
I do have regrets, as do others. I'm bound to have more as I live my life but I hope there won't be too many lying ahead of me. Sometimes, we are fortunate to be in a position to do something about it. In other times, we are unable to do anything about it. As I look back, there have been a few of such occasions and there's nothing else I can do except to say, I gave it all away.
