This teddy was delivered to a woman in her office today at about lunchtime. This little teddy costs only RM960. This red teddy is the only Lusciana Bear in the country. 'Little' red one-of-a-kind teddy, I wonder who's the (un)lucky woman that was given this teddy in her office in front of her colleagues and probably her bosses too!
Yes, it's the time of the year again when people just go nuts, spend way over what they would normally do and do things they would usually not do. Everything is overpriced from flowers to chocolates, holiday destinations to dining places, even the jaga kereta would probably hike their prices. Yes, people...it's Valentine's Day once again. There's bound to be a mass wedding where loads of people get married. Get real people, what's so special about that? Shouldn't weddings be something special?
Back to the (un)lucky woman. I really pity her. If I were a woman, I would be so afraid to have read such news in the papers. Who in their right mind would humiliate their significant other this way? I don't see how is this showing your affection to her. And to spend silly money like this?!? Can you count the number of Char Koay Teow or slices of cheesecake you could buy with that amount of money?!? Crazy really. Please people, take her to a movie. Treat her to a good meal (I'll prefer if you cooked). Pamper her with ice-cream and chocolates. Please don't spend close to RM1,000 for an ugly bear and to humiliate her at her workplace like that! It's so lame. Think of something more original and romantic please. For her sake at least....and also for all the males in the world!!!
Happy Valentine's to all singles and couples out there!
