  4. btw, my results show:

    You are a

    Social Liberal
    (65% permissive)

    and an...

    Economic Liberal
    (30% permissive)

however, i have an issue with this statement:

"You are best described as a:

    Democrat

You exhibit a very well-developed sense of Right and Wrong and believe in economic fairness"

being a social constructivist, i don't believe in the existence of right and wrong, or good and bad, for these are constructed realities.

ks: *ahem* (time for lecture. hehehe) well, to be honest, i'm in tune with socialism (not marxism in particular, but a bit of its elements). i'm particulary influenced by works written by the philosopher, michel foucault, who studied the discourse of 'madness'. in a nutshell, he argues that the notion of 'madness' is one that is constructed by those in power, and it is through such definitions that the distinctions between what the 'norm' and 'mad' are made. the same applies with 'good' and 'bad' as well as, 'normal' and 'adnormal'.

in short, it's simply this. i believe there's no such thing as 'good' and 'bad'. what may be good for you, may be bad for me. so, how do we quantify such labels? we just can't.

    sekian, terima kasih.
