Budget 2006

I was listening to the Prime Minister cum Finance Minister announcing the Budget 2006 just now. Frankly speaking, I nearly fell asleep with nothing much being announced that excited me. Probably the goodies have been dished out earlier. Even the sin tax that I've predicted didn't meet my expectations with only an increase of 9% and 13% for alcohol and cigarettes, respectively. I believe the group that benefited the most from Budget 2006 were the bumiputera contractors. I keep on hearing incentives for them throughout the Budget. What gives?!? All in all, I'm very disappointed with a non-event Budget 2006.
